The successful candidate will have a key role in the company working both on new product development and support for existing products.

Main Duties:
- Electrical system design
- Component selection and technical liaison with suppliers
- Research and development of new features and concepts for a range of electrically driven, motion compensated offshore hoists
- Preparation of documentation (electrical schematics, wiring schedules, BOMs etc.)
- Liaison with customers and certification bodies
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering to BSc level or above
- A minimum of five years in a similar, highly technical role
- Experience with motor-driven motion systems
- Knowledge of LV electrical systems and circuit protection
- Strong communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Strong team player with “can-do” attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Clean driving license and permit to work in the UK
Advantageous Knowledge/Experience:
- Development of electrical hoists
- Systems integration experience
- ISO 13849 and safety certification
- Product Certification
- Generation of Risk Assessments

- Salary £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
