This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an offshore technician background looking to make the move towards a managerial role. This will suit an individual with excellent administrative, project management and communication skills, good industry knowledge and problem solving abilities. This role is UK based but will involve extended periods of travel to all GUS installation sites including the USA in early/mid 2023.

Main Duties:
- On site management of all logistical details around GUS system installation, commissioning and servicing offshore
- Onshore commissioning support
- Offshore commissioning support may involve working in offshore technician role as and when required to facilitate smooth deployment of GUS units
- Technician management in conjunction with our Service Manager including travel arrangements/visas/shift rotas
- Monitoring of spare parts and proactive management of requirements
- Offshore work scheduling, co-ordination of work with customer and other sub-contractors
- Troubleshooting issues with commissioning of GUS units
- Reporting and updates to head office
- Ambassador for Pict Offshore at customer installation sites.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Experience of working as an offshore technician in the wind industry
- Technical background, preferably with an electrical qualification
- Able to demonstrate administrative or logistics experience
- Ability to travel abroad
- Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean driving licence and permit to work in the UK
Advantageous Knowledge/Experience:
- Current GWO tickets
- Electrical qualification
- Work visa for USA or UK/USA dual citizenship
What you can Expect in Return:
- Salary £52,000 to £62,000 depending on experience
