Quality Technician
Job Description:
We need a Quality Technician to ensure that our high quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of our production process. Reporting to the Quality Manager you will play a crucial role in the day to day maintaining of standards.
Main Duties:
- Inspect fabrications and assemblies in accordance with the goods inwards procedure and specifications
- Monitor and perform build quality inspections during the manufacturing life cycle
- Identify any non-conforming products and failures in accordance with the non-conformance process
- Support engineering/quality teams with occasional supplier visits to inspect assemblies in progress
- Support the Quality Manager in delivering Internal Audits against manufacturing and production controls
- Participate in all other tasks as required to promote a quality manufacturing environment.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- 3 years experience in a quality or technical role
- Experience working in mechanical and electrical assembly
- Ability to investigate non-conformities and follow through on delivering effective corrective actions
- Confident and assertive in ensuring process compliance and defect reporting
- A high level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, including excel
- A good eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a keen team player
- Flexible to varying work demands and the ability to prioritise as the business grows
- A permit to work in the UK
- Driving licence

- NAV 365 Business Central
What you can Expect in Return:
- Rate of £13.00 to £14.00 per hour
- Full time, Monday to Friday, 8am -4.30pm and occasional overtime
- Minimum 9 month contract with opportunities for future contracts
