In some respects this will resemble a traditional production engineer role, but there is a wider remit here to include support for field activities in the form of investigating problems, generating instructions and translating feedback from field activities into effective improvements to production processes.

Main Duties:
- Production and service departments engineering support
- Creation of work instructions from design drawings etc
- Continuous improvement of production processes
- Engineering Change Order review and implementation into production
- DFx feedback to design engineering
- Review of field data for impact/improvement on production activities
- Creation of rework and maintenance instructions
- Prototype build execution and review.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in an engineering role
- Qualified to at least HNC (or equivalent level) in an engineering discipline
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and translate these into work instructions
- Strong team player with "can-do" attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing/assembly
- Clean driving licence and permit to work in the UK
Advantageous Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience with products for offshore environments
- Technical liaison with design engineers
- Shop floor layouts
- Creation/design of production jigs and fixtures
- Debug
What you can Expect in Return:
- Salary £38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
