We have a requirement for a number of test operators to join our small manufacturing team carrying out electrical testing of our product during the production build.
Main Duties:
- Carrying out electrical test (point to point, functional) and software configuration
- Wiring using crimping tools
- Mechanical assembly as and when required
- Maintaining appropriate build records
- Liaising with the engineering and procurement team
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Hands-on experience in testing role
- Good computer literacy
- Experience of wiring prep and following a wiring schedule
- Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- Good computer skills
- Good team player
- Experience of following work instructions as part of a Quality Management System
- Good communication skills
- A permit to work in the UK
What you can Expect in Return:
- Rate of £12.50 per hour
- Full time (40 hours per week), day shift, fixed term contract of 6 months, may be an option to extend
