Last GUS systems depart Inverkeithing for Orsted North East Projects

Roughly 11 months after the first GUS systems left our factory in Inverkeithing bound for the USA, the last 3 units were put onto a trailer and began the journey that will take them across the Atlantic to New York. This marks the end of GUS production for Orsted’s Northeast Projects, comprising Southfork, Revolution and Sunrise windfarms, but is only the beginning of these system’s journey towards providing safe and reliable access for these project’s construction and O&M personnel for decades into the future. As the last 3 units leave Scotland, the first 12 systems at Southfork Wind are already in use, with Windserve’s CTV crews and Orsted’s technicians taking to it well.
