Pict introduce GUS System to First Minister at opening of new Floating Wind Innovation Centre

Despite refusing the offer to surf on top of the hexapod, it was wonderful to meet Humza Yousaf at the opening of the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult's new Floating Offshore Wind Innovation Centre yesterday 😀. It was a real privilege to be a part of this exciting milestone and to have an opportunity to recount to to Scotland's First Minister, the exciting journey that Pict Offshore has been on since 2019; a journey that might not have got so far, so fast without the support of Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Development International along the way. Having unique, world-class facilities like the Levenmouth Demonstrator Turbine in Methil has also played a critical role in de-risking our access technologies and accelerating commercial deployment of the GUS system offshore, allowing us to grow and to thrive. We're hoping for more of the same from FLOWIC and yesterday was a great, first step. 👍
